- The Solar Credits Scheme is NOT means tested – all income levels are eligible
- The program is open to home owners, businesses and community groups

Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)
Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) are an electronic form of currency representing blocks of energy from renewable sources. You are awarded RECs when you install a qualifying system such as solar hot water system or solar panels. Depending on your location and the system purchased you are entitled to a fixed number of RECs which will enable you to save a significant amount of money on your purchase.
